Delivery Policy

UK Delivery

Standard Postage - £2.99. Free postage available on orcers over £33

All Deliveries are sent via the Royal Mail unless an item is particularly heavy, in which case we will use a courier.

Delivery usually takes between 3-5 working days from the date of dispatch.

Delivery to Non-UK Destinations

Shopping Direct does not deliver to Non-UK destinations

What if my item hasn't arrived?

We send our items via the Royal Mail. Deliveries should arrive within 2-3 working days of being posted. The Royal Mail state that 90% of their First Class mail arrives the next day, and 90% of their Second Class mail arrives in 2 days, but if yours doesn't they have the following advice:

Check the tracking of the order

If your parcel was sent via a tracked service, the link can be found on your dispatch confirmation email.

Is it less than 4 working days since the item was posted to you?

If so, hold tight, it's probably on its way but may have been held up by an incomplete address, no Postcode, or unusual circumstances. If your parcel was sent using a tracked service, your tracked detail will be in your shipment confirmation email. Please check the tracking information

Has it been between 4 and 14 working days since the item was posted to you?

If so, your mail is officially delayed and you should check with your neighbours to see if a parcel has been left with them, check any outhouses you might have where mail may be left if it cannot fit through your letterbox and contact your local sorting office to see if the item has been returned to the depot as undelivered and awaiting collection.

Have 14 working days passed since the item was posted to you?

Please contact our Customer Service team via email. You MUST contact us within 30 days of expected delivery date. We will do everything we can to help.

NOTE: We cannot refund or replace items that the Royal Mail has lost until after 14 working days have passed (this may be subject to completion of any pending investigations)

What happens on Bank Holiday Weekends?

Please allow additional time for your orders to arrive over the bank holiday. We suggest allowing an additional 2-3 days for your packages to arrive to allow for delays within the mail.
